إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَـٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ

"Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried you [i.e., your ancestors] in the sailing ship1"
