فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

"And We destroyed greater than them1 in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded."
